Scarab Beetle Earrings

$20.00

Part of our Ancient Egyptian collection, these earrings are inspired by the scarab beetle symbol. Ancient Egyptian scarabs were inspired by dung beetles, insects which transport dung in little balls and lay their offspring in them. To the Ancient Egyptian people, the scarab beetle symbolized their sun god, Khepri, who they believed would roll the sun across the sky each morning. They also associated scarabs with renewal and rebirth.
